Lindley Family

Over the last year, there have been
a lot of discussions about the future of the Luther Lindley Family Reunion.
There have been concerns about availability, scheduling, frequency, location, expense,
and declining attendance. Ultimately, we know that everyone simply wants to
spend time together and enjoy the company of your family. However, if we want
to continue to have this opportunity, we must provide some solid direction to
the future of the reunion.
The
2016 reunion will be held on June 24th, 25th, and 26th.
Given some of the issues we have with the current location, it is likely
this will be the last reunion held at Lakeshore Lodge. As such, we are planning
to have a meeting on Saturday morning to discuss the next reunion. A final
decision on the reunion’s future location and scheduling will be made during
this meeting. Everyone should expect that this meeting won’t be adjourned until
that decision is made.
If you have thoughts, concerns, or
questions about the future of the reunion, they should be voiced at this
meeting. We’re looking for ideas related to all aspects of the reunion: location,
scheduling, amenities, pricing, etc. Everyone’s feedback is welcomed, and if
you are not able to attend you can send your thoughts to me and I will be sure
they are presented at the Saturday meeting.

appreciate everyone’s patience and participation as we determine the future of the
reunion.
