Obituary and Memorial Details for Rosalee LIndley Presley



Tammy has passed along this tribute to Rosalee, along with some additional details about the upcoming memorial service. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

Rosalee Lindley Presley, age 86, of Breckenridge, passed away Easter morning, April 20, 2014.  She was born to the late Luther Lindley and Katie Sanders Lindley in September, 1927.
Rosalee graduated from Breckenridge High School and attended Draughns Business School in Abilene, Texas.  She married the late Byron Ronald (Bill) Presley and they lived together in Breckenridge, Texas.Rosalee worked many years with her husband at Presley Feed Mill then later in life at Stephens Memorial Hospital and Outreach Home Health.  After retiring, she spent many years volunteering and doing whatever she could to help those around her. Rosalee had a passion for caring for all who crossed her path.

Rosalee is survived by her son Steven Lee of Breckenridge and daughter Tammy and husband John Santi of Conifer, Colorado, step-granddaughters Heather Santi-Brown of Arlington, and Sherry Osborne Farrow of Borne, brothers Elbert and wife Jeri of Stephenville and Carl and wife Imogene of Garland, sisters-in-law Jewell of Duncanville and Clarene of Athens, many many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, B.R. Presley, step-daughter Jackye Presley Osborne, sister Betty and husband Ralph Milner, brothers Theodore, Buster and wife Margaret, J.C., Nathan and wife Fannie, Harold and wife Vernel, and Billy, sisters-in-law Rubye Briden and Nell Olsen.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 17th at 1:00 pm at Bethany Baptist Church for all who wish to celebrate the life of Rosalee.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
